Our current software releases are RealFlight Evolution and RealFlight Trainer Edition. Both of these RC flight simulators will help you become an even better RC pilot, whether you’re new and learning to fly RC for the first time, or an experienced RC pilot looking to hone your skills. Both versions are available as software-only for purchase and download or you can bundle RealFlight Evolution with the Spektrum™ InterLink® DX Simulator Controller. The Spektrum InterLink DX Simulator Controller offers plug-and-play functionality with a USB connection, making it a seamless way to start flying immediately in RealFlight’s RC flight simulators.
If you’d prefer to use your own Spektrum RC transmitter, we have options for that, too! The Spektrum WS2000 USB Dongle (sold separately) is compatible with many of the best-loved RC transmitters from Spektrum including the DXS RC transmitter which comes with many beginner-friendly Ready-to-Fly RC airplane models, so if you’re looking at purchasing the RealFlight Trainer Edition, you can use your Ready-to-Fly transmitter with it using the Spektrum Dongle or purchase the Spektrum InterLink DX Simulator Controller separately. RealFlight also works with the Spektrum Dongle to connect other Spektrum DX and iX series transmitters, or you can go with a USB connection with the Spektrum NX6, NX8, NX10, and others.
One of the features that makes both RC flight simulators so great is that not only can you use your favorite RC transmitter, but you can fly some of your favorite RC airplanes and RC helicopters in the simulator! It’s a great feature to “try” a different or new model of RC airplane in the simulator before making the purchase of the real thing and taking it to the field
Both RealFlight Evolution and RealFlight Trainer Edition run on a wide variety of PCs (Personal Computers) running Windows® 8, 10, or 11. We also recommend at least 512 MB of RAM and at least 10 GB of hard drive space to run RealFlight RC flight simulators.
